Macrame workshops are a great addition to any birthday, family night, baby shower, or special celebration. The host will choose a macrame project for each guest to create and the group will spend quality time crafting together. Workshops include a guided lesson with Cassy, all supplies, and time to create with feedback. The suggested party size is 1-18 guests and the average party time is 1.5-2hrs long. Most projects are suitable for 12 years old and up.

• A non-refundable $100 deposit is required for parties over 10.

• Your deposit will be applied to your total balance. The remaining balance can be paid at the time of the event with cash, card, Venmo, or Zelle.

• For groups of 10 or more, a private payment link can be created to share with guests.

• For smaller groups, it is suggested that guests pay the host and the host makes one party payment.

• Please book parties 2-3 weeks in advance. While I can usually accomodate a last minute booking, it is best to book ahead!

• For larger parties (24+), please reach out no less than 6 weeks in advance to coordinate.

• The party host must provide the venue. Your living room is just fine!

• For parties over 10, please be prepared to pay a non-refundable deposit of $100 via Zelle or Venmo.

• All public events start at $35/person, but we can work together to find what ticket price makes the most sense for the venue, project at hand, etc.

• Macrame del Bay creates all event flyers and media, but happy to collab on all social media posts. MDB will never post without the approval of the booking business.

• MDB will oversee ticket sales, unless business prefers to handle all sales. If MDB does not take sales through our website, we only ask that the business provides us with a list of participants’ emails at the time of the event. We love to follow-up and thank your guests with promo codes for macrame supplies.

A great option for friends and family around the world! A virtual party is a 2 hour long Zoom meeting. There are a few options for booking this type of event.

• $10/person. All participants must provide their own supplies.

• Supply list and measurements guide will be sent to all guests once party is booked.

I understand that life happens and there are many reasons why you may need to reschedule or cancel. If you need to reschedule, no worries! Just reach out to me and we can find a date we are both happy with.

Please note that the deposit is non-refundable for cancellations. The sooner you let me know, the better, as it takes some time for me to prepare a special class for each group. I appreciate your understanding!

How old do you have to be to participate?

• If you can tie your shoes, you can learn macramé. My youngest crafter so far was 8 years old.

Can I host a private party at a business I don’t own, but want host the event at?

• If you work with the business’s management to have the space reserved, then absolutely. I do not contact venues for you, you must book the space.

What do I need to bring with me?

• Nothing! Although, I do suggest bringing along the pot you wish to use in your plant hanger to see your final product.

I have a last minute guest that I did not account for, can they participate?

• Most likely, yes! Please reach out to me. If I have supplies available, then absolutely.

What size pot fits in the plant hangers?

• My lesson is for a 4-6" pot, but you can adjust rope length if you wish to recreate the project for a larger pot.
